Blender + Maya Projects

This is a personal project I made myself during the beginning of February 2025. Like most of my projects, I didn’t have a specific idea in mind and modified the overall scene as I went along, which is why I ended up making a boy’s bedroom. I made all the assets myself, except the textures and objects involving cloth/fabric such as the folded clothes, backpack and towel (royalty free, found online). I think my biggest difficulty in this project was having a clear vision of my idea. However, making more projects in the last few months has made me gain considerable efficiency, allowing to take way less time than before to make this room.

Here is a close up version of one of the assets I made for the boy’s bedroom; a detailed interpretation of the famous SuperSoaker ™️ water gun. This object was a great exercise for me since I had to work on nailing down the proportions of the real object. *I made the gun myself, royalty free textures found online

I made everything in this room myself (except the candles) and focused on creating a detailed environment that feels lived in. Playing with textures, lighting, and curating a “perfectly imperfect” scene is what helped me achieve the end look. Made using Blender in August 2024 as a personal project on my own. For this project, I tried making something out of my comfort zone that would still depict a lived in place. I was also able to develop my ability to create an cohesive world with the colors and overall mood. Letting myself create something that is more silly is also one of the things that pushed me out of my comfort zone! This scene was made during my 3D digital modeling class and is composed of the different models we had created during the previous weeks. Composition and lighting were the main focus of the project. Made using Maya during September 2023. This project was made for educational purposes on my own and I’d say my main obstacles were using textures for the first time and implementing them harmoniously in the scene. *Royalty free textures used

A personal project I made to learn the rudiments of Blender. The previous 3D work I had worked on had been done in Maya and I wanted to learn a new software! This was a great way for me to focus on learning how to use sculpting tools. Made using Blender during July 2024. The biggest difficulties I faced would be learning how to use a new software on my own. I had a good base, but still had to figure some new stuff on my on.
